The first time I have heard about Second Life was at the 22C3 last year in Berlin and I was very impressed. At that time, they have 200.000 registered Users. Today, 11 month later, they have 1.7 million users.
Last day and weeks I have heard a few news about Second Life.

• There is a Second Life Drupal Group, which want to create modules for Drupal to link it with Second Life. The website of Lindenlab, who invents, develops and hosts Second Life, ist running with Drupal -> buytaert.net/second-life-using-drupal.
• There is also a project called sloodle.com. Here people want to connect the learning management system moodle with Second Life.
• machm-it.org we want to relaunch and we want to use presumable drupal and moodle
• [url=http://www.bloghouse.org/de/node/21752]Maxie[/url] starts to blog about Second Life at bloghouse.org.

Second Life will be the buzz in 2007. Time to look at it a bit closer.

Today at 2 pm I have registered. You can choose only your surname. My name is now Fitou Foulon!

After I created the user and looking around for 10 minutes (I was able to fly) - it makes - bsssd - and Second Life was offline.
I thought: "sorry, I don't want to destroy the system" and turned around to look if someone was behind me. Later I saw an entry in the Linden Lab Blog. "The world receives an update" at 2 pm and the grid is offline.

Ok. The first 10 Minutes are long enough to make me a thoughtful Fan.
