Whoever is behind the "Malt partner", I understand a partnership as a relation which based on mutuality. In the best cases it's balanced: every partner contribute, give and take something.
In your comment it sounds a bit like: if you contribute the right things the project/partnership will be successful. Hopefully I misinterpret that!
