Drupal 5 DVD

Today I had to make a lot of other stuff (my beloved clients ).
For the DVD I have covered internationalization. The topic is quite complex and in such a way the website today looks again somewhat wildly. There is a certain multilingualness
Today too I inserted a genuine highlight. The FCKEditor with the possibility of uploading pictures. Please trie out that picture upload or also "flash integration" and the other wonderful things you can do with that editor by writing a blog entry. They say it is also also possible to paste Word text!

Tomorrow I will record something to the topic of themes and backup. Then my time budget extended here from 6 on nearly 10 hours.

Today it should be a bit more calm but ... the recordings must be ready on monday because they need the studio for other productions.
So I hurry up with the topics audio files und Podcasts.
I have uploaded a (german) example podcast (Blogg & Decker) from themaastrix.net and one hour later, we had a new user - themaastrix.
I will try the same with Markus Breuer. He is writing a lot about second life. And when I configured the image gallery I thought of him. The Second Life picture shows me together with Maxie in her garden. She has showed me the world and that was the beginning of the machm-it.org island.

Then you can watch 35 uncutted seconds from my interview yesterday. It's a flash video.
We also accept now AVI, MPG, RM und WMV files beside the other formats.
A small musicbox was also built today and is waiting for your music

Tomorrow we will start with internationalization!

What a day!
What happened?
A nice guy made an interview with me and we thought, we should put it they way it it (only a part) to the website.
That meant:
We need a mini YouTube.
For Drupal5Tube and the video module no problem Please upload something (.mov, .wmv, .rm, .flv, .swf, .dir, .dcr, mp4, 3gp, 3g2) or connect YouTube and Google video with our website.
Tomorrow I get the clip of the interview and I can upload it, so you can see me talking german!
- The whole Website is now a bit more cleaned up.
- We have a cool dvd cover picture and a poll (vote here)
- the DVD is now purchasable at the price of 39,95 euro and it will be delivered at the end of February - Any questions? We are still wondering how we include a donation to the project Drupal per sold DVD into the price, but the whole project is quite expensive and the price is already ok - But today we talked about 1 Euro per dvd (Remember, they are the producers, they do not get the whole 39,95).
In addition I have over 7 hours "eaten" and much more is not possible within the budget.

Tomorrow it will be somewhat more calmly. I have to do another job (many greetings to Mr. V. ).

Today was an interesting day. I was wondering, how I make a good introduction to the many core modules of Drupal. I decided to built a small example for each module. So, now I have 2:30 hours of films (only from today). I consider it important to know the possibilities from the core before one go into the world of the contributed modules and best practise scenarios. For this reason the website today looks a bit chaotically (quelle massacre -)). Tomorrow we will clean up everything - I promise -!

Sorry for my bad english

After my yesterday posting many users have registered to the website.
Cool - thank you for that.
It is a good base for experimenting if you have a few user accounts.
Over the day a lot of things happened.
Users are now able to:
- blog
- create Profiles
- create content
- communicate via a contactform

The business part of describing what our website is dealing with is here and the theme has now another color.

If was suprised about the amount of users, so I installed a newsletter module to be able to contact you
The first newsletter was sent at noon (Do you received it?)

Today we have another good hour of videos taken and I am again tired but happy

I hope in two days, we will be able to install the i8n module to have a multilingual website.
At the moment everything is in German and we have users from Norway and one from Hungaria waitung on that feature.
