That is correct but what people don't know is that Swahili word is borrowed from Arabic and means the same thing:

Die Verbindungen zwischen den Sprachen finde ich immer interessant. Im Jahr 2004 hatten wir ein Projekt in Tansania und da habe ich sehr viel Suaheli um mich herum gehört.
In Daressalam (دار السلام) gibt es sehr viel Araber und Inder. Die Handelsbeziehungen in diese Länder bestehen seit Jahrhunderten.
